2022 is the year of the tiger?
We’re calling “bull” on that. It’s the year of “The False Hero”, and we’re starting it off with a bang by launching a website dedicated to The False Hero alongside my transition into a full-time author! I never expected this day to come, yet here it is!
First, I’d like to thank all of the readers who’ve made this reality possible. Without your support, I’m just a guy rambling into an empty void about Unique Skills and fiends of Chaos. Not a pretty sight.
Also, I’d like to give a nod to some of the LitRPG authors whose novels inspired me, such as Brandon Varnell, Wolfe Locke, Atlas Kane, Matt Dinniman, and Will Wight. Never thought I’d be lucky enough to have any of them on my Facebook friend’s list as a fellow author, but I’ve spoken to several now on numerous occasions. Great guys.
Lastly, I’d like to pay homage to the foundation of what put me on this path to begin with—light novels. I was always into anime to some degree, but it wasn’t until I found Japanese light novels that my love for this genre truly took root. Even now, I look forward to the newest releases of some of my favorite series, such as Rising of the Shield Hero, Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody, and Overlord. If it weren’t for the authors behind these books, I wouldn’t be here today.
